Several Mirabella at ASU residents in maroon and gold colors cheer for the Sun Devils before a game.

A place where golden years are maroon and gold—and more meaningful than ever.

Get to know the history and values of Mirabella at ASU.

It all started when Arizona State University decreed that learning isn’t just for students ages 18–22. It’s more like 18–92, and even beyond that too! Studies show that learning and living in a community with people of all ages benefits the younger folks and the older folks, too. Mature community members pass on hard-earned wisdom, and younger generations bring an enthusiasm that you can’t help but share.

When ASU reviewed the research, it was no longer a question of if the institution would build their own university-based retirement community, but when. Determined to execute their vision, ASU broke ground on Mirabella in partnership with Pacific Retirement Services. Now, residents enjoy a lifestyle overflowing with educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities. It’s university life for a new generation of lifelong learners.
